This tuber has multiple lobes. Sinningia 'Peninsula Belle' is a cross between S. reitzii and S. lineata. Since the tuber of the lineata parent has a conventional smooth base without lobes, the multiple lobes seen here were presumably inherited from the reitzii parent.
