Sometimes I take lots of pictures of show plants; other times not so many. Mostly, I figure that better photographers than I are doing that job for the Gesneriad Society's web site. At the 2006 convention, I took only a few pictures and this was the plant I liked best, both because it's a hard plant to grow for show and because it's a sinningia and I'm biased. This is Sinningia amambayensis, grown and exhibited by Carol Hamelink. She exhibited it again at the 2009 convention. |
